Rated power at 1.6kg/cm2 (22.8psi) boost; MX7760：380ps, MX7960(F)：400ps, MX8265：450ps For a stock engine, it is recommended that you at least upgrade the head gasket to a metal type. With this setup the engine should be able to withstand up to around 350ps with the MX7760/MX7960(F). Accordingly, the boost should be limited to around1.4~1.5kg/cm2 (19.9~21.3psi). Upgrading to forged pistons and H-Beam connecting rods should allow you to safely raise the boost to 1.6kg/cm2 (22.8psi). However, this will depend on the specifications/condition of the vehicle. Note that boost settings should be made in 4th/5th gear. Configuring boost in lower gears will result in higher actual boost as load is significantly greater at higher gears. (You may notice that boost begins to fall as you raise the rpm beyond peak boost. This is normal)

MX8265	This turbo is fundamentally designed for use with tuned/stroked engines with a displacement larger than 2.2l. On a stock engine, not only is it difficult to extract the full potential of this turbo, it may even damage the engine itself.
